Letter Goodness

A little snail mail always brightens my day, even when life seems cheerless. I had two lovely letters this week, and a couple Postcrossing postcards as well. I am still a bit behind on replying to letters, though the week before last I sent out a couple.

  1. I miss getting snail mail now that I’m living at home again. When I was at university, my mom used to send me a card every week or so, and it would always be stuffed with surprises, such as stickers, bookmarks, and once even a chocolate bar! Those envelopes in your photo look nice and fat, and very enticing!

I also want to let you know that I’ve recently awarded you with a Versatile Blogger Award on my blog. You can read it about here: http://apenchantforpaper.blogspot.ca/2012/08/versatile-blogger-award.html I know that some people don’t like these kinds of awards, so you don’t have to accept it if you don’t want to. It was just a way for me to show my appreciation! I like how your blog incorporates so many different topics, and how you share many of my same tastes in books, gardening, spirituality, etc. I look forward to your future posts!

    • Your mom’s letters sound amazing! And yes, those were very lovely and fat. πŸ™‚

Thanks very much for the award! I’ve actually never had a blog award before so I’m kind of excited.
